Two High School Friends Open the First Black-Owned Toy Store in Carson Mall

Two high school friends achieved their childhood dream this week when they opened the first Black-owned toy store in the South Bay Pavilion Mall in Carson, the same place they used to visit when they were kids.

Feon Cooper and Kareem Burton, the owners of Black Star Collectibles, say their friendship and now their business partnership is rooted in their long-time love for toys, comics and superheroes, even though as kids they couldn’t identify with any of the characters portrayed in the toys.

“We would go into different stores, and we wouldn’t really see any representation of us, so we wanted to bring a store that would represent us,” said Burton.

Toys for Tots seeking gifts, donations amid tough economic times

WASHINGTON (Gray DC) — Amid these tough times, Marines and volunteers are facing unprecedented challenges in making this holiday season special for families in need. With so many out of work during the economic downturn, the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is tasked with delivering gifts to even more children this year.

Each Christmas, the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation puts smiles on millions of children’s faces. But this year is especially difficult amid the pandemic, as Marines and volunteers in some communities see a large increase in the need for gifts, while donations are down.

“We thought we were going to have to turn families away to even receive one toy, and the amount the community has come out over the last two weeks and put their heart and soul into making it what it has been in the past is just been incredible,” said Captain Alexander Coffiey, coordinator for Roanoke’s Toys for Tots program.

The request for toys in the Roanoke Valley is six times higher than last year. Captain Alex Coffiey says the community and donors have stepped up so each child on their Christmas list can open at least three toys. Typically, the area serves about 700 to 750 kids in need, and this year, a staggering 4,000 kids were in need of presents.

“Parents are out of work, their houses are being foreclosed on — there’s not going to be a lot of other toys for a lot of these families,” said Coffiey.

Despite all the struggles, Commandant for the Marine Corps League — Roanoke Detachment 426, Mike Shepherd, says all these hours at Santa’s workshop are worth it.

“It can get rather emotional for a lot of us…you have people that break down in tears crying because they can’t afford to do what we’re doing,” said Mike Shepherd, Commandant for the Marine Corps League.

Retired Colonel Ted Silvester says you can’t underestimate the Marines’ resolve to accomplishing any mission.

“96 cents of every donated dollar goes into buying toys and putting them in the hands of children, so as an organization, as a program run by the Marine Corps, who knows how to do more with less than Marines, right?” joked Col. Ted Silvester (Ret.) Marine Toys for Tots Foundation vice president of marketing and development.

If you’d like to make a donation, please visit ToysforTots.org to find out how you can make an impact in your community.

The deadline to turn in these gifts varies from center to center, so you can double-check that information online. All gifts must be unwrapped. Organizers say this year, there’s especially a need for presents for older children.

If you miss the cut-off for your community to drop off presents, you can also make a cash donation online. The foundation can put the online donations toward completing payments on gifts through January.

DAY OF GIVING DELIVERS HOLIDAY CHEER DURING A ROUGH YEAR

TOY BANK’S 26TH ANNUAL EVENT WAS HELD AT PASO ROBLES EVENT CENTER

PASO ROBLES — More than 500 families received some help for Christmas at the 26th annual Day of Giving on Saturday, Dec. 12, at the Paso Robles Event Center.

“For me right now, this is very important because I am only working two days a week,” said Mayra Calderon of Paso Robles. “It’s been a little rough this year. This is a blessing.”

The free event is organized each year by the Toy Bank of Greater Paso Robles with lots of help from the community. Due to COVID-19 guidelines, this year’s Day of Giving was held inside the spacious Adelaide Hall.

“All of the people that have been coming in have been super thankful,” said Amanda Bean, who is the Day of Giving Coordinator and co-chair of the Toy Bank board. “They understand that this is a weird year, and it’s not always going to be like this. People have been very gracious and understanding that things are different this year. Luckily everyone is rolling with it.”

Bean, 29, said when the planning began months ago, safety was their top priority.

“We all agreed that if we could keep everyone safe, we would put the extra work in to make sure that it happened, and I think we’ve done that,” Bean said.

The Toy Bank provides toys, games, playground balls, stuffed animals, books, arts and crafts at the Day of Giving. Everything is donated by event sponsors and the community or purchased with money donated by residents and businesses.

“People were just super generous this year,” said Toy Bank board co-chair Maribeth Bonomi. “Super, super generous. I felt like people understand we all have a need right now and everybody is sensitive to it.”

The Hall allowed the seven overflowing toy stations to be spaced out. Thousands of unwrapped name-brand toys were organized on tables by gender and age. One or two volunteers crewed each station when the first families came in at 8 a.m. and through to the last family scheduled at about 3 p.m.

Families with children in Paso Robles, San Miguel, Shandon, Bradley, and Heritage Ranch receive toys, clothes and gift cards at the Day of Giving. Libby Lemm and her husband Rollie started the local Toy Bank and the Day of Giving.

Officially 545 families signed up for the Day of Giving in Paso Robles, an all-time high and equates to just under 1,200 children benefitting.

“We have a lot more families than we did last year, Bean said. “We’ve had a lot more new families this year, which is good for us. We are just glad that people were able to find us and that we were able to find them.”

Families had to pre-register online and received an email or text with a specific time to show up at the Paso Robles Event Center.

Once they arrived, they waited in their car until they were called or texted to walk to the front of the Adelaide Hall.

Only one person per family could enter the Hall. Only 10 families were allowed in the Hall at one time. Each person in the Hall was required to wear a mask and gloves and sign paperwork before entering. Each person’s temperature was taken.

Inside, they went from table to table based on their children’s age and gender and pointed out gifts that volunteers gathered and put into their oversized plastic bags.

In addition to the toys, stuffed animals and family games, the Salvation Army provided grocery gift cards to families.

After exiting the building, they disposed of the gloves and walked to their vehicle.

Overall, Bonomi and Bean agreed the event went well and the changes led to a less frenetic pace than in past years.

“It feels very safe. Everything is easy and organized, and there are lots of choices,” Bonomi said. “It feels really good. People are really happy. This is kind of nice, actually. You have some room to move. It’s a good day.”

It has been a tough year for many people, and the Toy Bank was grateful to be doing the Day of Giving again.

“You can’t see them smiling, but there have been a lot of thank-yous and Merry Christmases,” Bean said. “People have been excited. It’s nice to have something semi-normal even though it’s different.”

The Toy Bank accepts donations year-round. People can donate online at prtoybank.org or send a check payable to Toy Bank of Greater Paso Robles, P.O. Box 2801, Paso Robles, CA 93447. For more information, visit www.prtoybank.org.

Disney World was adding digital face masks to guests in ride photos

Disney World is unsurprisingly determined to enforce mask wearing during the COVID-19 pandemic, but that has led it to some unusual experimentation with technology. Disney told WDW News Today in a statement that it stopped a recent practice of digitally placing masks on to the faces of theme park guests who are uncovered in ride photos. This was a test “in response to guest requests,” Disney said, although it didn’t explain why it began or stopped the practice.

Guests like Facebook user Tony Townsend recently noticed the practice for certain rides, including Dinosaur (above) and Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin. Many believe the digital edits were meant to discourage riders from taking their masks off for the sake of a picture — people are theoretically less likely to endanger others if they know they’ll be seen wearing a mask regardless.

It’s unclear how Disney will enforce mask wearing on rides after this. It said it would “continue to expect” park attendees to wear masks any time they aren’t eating or drinking in a stationary position. Either way, it’s a rare instance of a company using image editing to enforce policies — we wouldn’t be surprised if others tried this, at least while the pandemic is still a major concern.

Google used a 64-camera rig to train its portrait lighting AI

Google’s Portrait Light feature can make some of your more mediocre photos look a lot better by giving you a way to change their lighting direction and intensity. The tech giant launched the AI-based lighting feature in September for the Pixel 4a 5G and Pixel 5 before giving older Pixel phones access to it. Now, Google has published a post on its AI blog explaining the technology behind Portrait Light, including how it trained its machine learning models.

https://sites.google.com/view/94984/
https://sites.google.com/view/98098/
https://sites.google.com/view/full-the-croods-a-new-age-goog/
https://www.comentr.com/t/technology/canq

To be able to train one of those models to add lighting to a photo from a certain direction, Google needed millions of portraits with and without extra lighting from different directions. The company used a spherical lighting rig with 64 cameras and 331 individually programmable LED light sources to capture the photos it needed. It photographed 70 people with different skin tones, face shapes, genders, hairstyles and even clothing and accessories, illuminating them inside the sphere one light at a time. The company also trained a model to determine the best illumination profile for automatic light placement. Its post has all the technical details, if you want to know how the feature came to be.

Google

On the Pixel 4, Pixel 4a, Pixel 4a (5G) and Pixel 5, the Pixel Camera automatically applies Portrait Light in default mode and to Night Sight photos that have people in them. On older Pixels, you can find the option to switch it on under the Adjust section when you edit a photo of a human. If you want to be able to manually re-position and adjust the brightness of the lighting, you’ll have too shoot in Portrait Mode and edit the image in Google Photos.

Virgin Galactic’s latest SpaceShipTwo test ends with a rocket motor failure

Virgin Galactic’s latest major spacecraft test has ended unceremoniously. The company has revealed that SpaceShipTwo’s rocket motor didn’t ignite during the test above Spaceport America, leaving the machine to once again glide to Earth. Both the craft and the crew are “in great shape,” and there are backup motors on hand. Still, the company could only promise that it would make another attempt “soon.”

It’s too early to determine a cause for the failure at this stage.

This won’t necessarily lead to a large delay, but it’s still an unpleasant setback for Virgin. This test would have been the last before a new test phase where the company would have specialists sit in the cabin to help improve the experience for passengers — some of the last steps before commercial service begins. If there’s anything more than a small delay, Virgin can’t start taking paying customers for a while longer.

The test was also supposed to be the first crewed spaceflight ever to launch from New Mexico, and the first from Spaceport America. Like it or not, the history making will have to wait at least a little while longer.

Early update on flight: The ignition sequence for the rocket motor did not complete. Vehicle and crew are in great shape. We have several motors ready at Spaceport America. We will check the vehicle and be back to flight soon.

ICYMI: We test the pricey and problematic ThinkPad X1 Fold

This week at Engadget, our editors were busy testing some unusual and unique devices. We tried out Lenovo’s first foldable tablet, the ThinkPad X1 Fold, and determined it was best left to early adopters. We clacked away at Corsair’s K60 Low Profile and determined that it was good for more than just gamers. We got a good look at Anova’s Precision oven — a combination convection-steam oven — that helped Nicole Lee cook the food of her dreams. In audio, we checked out Grado’s first true wireless earbuds, the GT220s, which have a thoughtful design and good sound quality. We also reviewed the Orba from Artiphon, a portable synthesizer, looper and MDE MIDI controller packed into a small, circular-shaped device.

Lenovo’s ThinkPad X1 Fold is remarkable but ultimately isn’t ready for the mainstream

Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Fold

Lenovo has often shown a willingness to experiment with new technologies. The ThinkPad X1 Fold is a 13.3-inch foldable tablet PC that runs Windows and can act as a mini laptop with the addition of a keyboard. It can be used in a number of orientations (except for tent mode), but at 2.2 pounds and 24mm thick when folded, it’s hefty to operate with one hand. Cherlynn Low said that while the Fold is a well-made, serviceable device, it’s nowhere near ready for mainstream adoption.

It also doesn’t help that, at $2,600, the Fold is expensive — and both the $230 companion keyboard and $100 pen come separately. Cherlynn liked the leather cover, the comfortable keyboard and the bright and colorful 2K OLED screen. But there were snags on the software side: Microsoft struggles to adapt Windows for touchscreen-only operation and the app store still lacks options. Cherlynn also experienced some hiccups when switching between modes. While a remarkable achievement, she said the X1 Fold is best left to early adopters.

Corsair’s K60 RGB Pro Low Profile is a solid gaming keyboard

Corsair K60 RGB Low Profile

Gaming keyboards can be popular with non-gamers for their sturdy construction and mechanical keys, though they’re usually louder and larger than others. Corsair’s K60 RGB Pro Low Profile challenges that: it’s a smaller, compact mechanical keyboard that eschews extras like media buttons, macro keys or a volume dial. Shorter than the standard K60, the Low Profile keyboard uses Cherry MX Speed keys which feel softer and more muted than the ones found on other Corsair decks.

Working in this time of constant change, postponements and cancellations is a print journalist’s worst nightmare.

In Friday’s sports section, Bob Dunning’s column so appropriately began: “WARNING: All of the games listed below may have been canceled before this newspaper hits your driveway, your computer screen or your smartphone.”

Too many times this year, I’ve come halfway through writing an article, only to learn of a new county or state action negating everything I’ve been reporting on.

Those four interviews I compiled over the last 48 hours? All irrelevant now.

The photos I shot to go along with the story? They’re no longer appropriate.

We may as well stripe a disclaimer across the top of each story, noting everything is “Subject to Change.”

Case in point: this past week’s grocery-store capacity goof-up.

Lines snaked around the building Monday at both Nugget and Trader Joe’s as the state and county kicked off the week with differing policies regarding how many shoppers were to be allowed inside the door.

Only by the time that had happened, Yolo County had already released its guidance for the 20 percent rule. And my colleague, Anne Ternus-Bellamy, who works at light speed, had already fired off a story.

“And I’d checked with the county Monday, and they’d said they were sticking with 20 percent,” Anne told me. “So I’d sent the article off.”

She’d even assigned me to stop by and take a photo.

Of course, by the time I arrived for that picture at Nugget on Covell, the county had since rescinded that rule and the long lines were gone.

But for all I know, they’ll have probably reinstated it by the time you’re reading this.

Thankfully, in that case, we were able to update the story before it went to print. But print deadlines don’t always get along well with these ever-changing rules.

You may have noticed Comings and Goings columnist Wendy Weitzel has been writing a story each week, rather than every other, for most of the pandemic. But even now, she says it’s still near impossible to keep up with it all.

For the last few months, she’s spent countless hours updating an online spreadsheet to keep tabs on the hundreds of businesses in town and how they’re adapting to restrictions. You can view it at: bit.ly/DavisBusinesses.

“It’s nice to be able to help them by sharing what’s going on in town,” Wendy says. “But at the same time, I have to keep my sanity.”

She jokes that “Comings and Goings” has become more of a “Dine-In or Takeout” column.

“The kind of news I’m writing about is totally different than before,” she told me.

What’s making the entire situation even more confusing, for both journalists and readers, is the fact that we’re dealing with different levels of government and different rules at each of those levels.

And lately, it seems like everyone — from state legislators to local school boards — seems content waiting on Gavin to call the shots.

But once the governor says something, for example, giving the OK for hair salons to open, that doesn’t mean all counties will automatically OK it, too.

Thus the neverending confusion and discrepancies, not to mention arbitrary restrictions — some of which seem to have zero scientific backing.

“I’m writing a story for Sunday right now,” Anne told me Friday. “And that’s knowing I’ll probably have to completely revise it tomorrow.

“That’s just become the normal.”

If you’ll excuse me now, I’ve got to go edit Dunning’s sports column.

Half the games he mentioned were just canceled.

The overall objective is smartphone-enabled, real-time, on the scene reporting of news, interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the World and within seconds and not hours. Now, news is reported with a smartphone: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary. The secondary objective is faster, and very inexpensive media content news production and distribution. We have found there is a disconnect between post length and time to product and revenue generated. With this, the problem is far less, though by no means solved. Zennie62Media is constantly working to improve the system network coding and seeks interested content and media technology partners.

Owen Yancher: The messenger is just as frustrated as you are

With Gov. Newsom capping entry figures at 20 percent (as part of the state’s new stay-at-home restrictions) the California Grocers Association immediately pushed back and launched a lobbying effort over the weekend. The state eventually acquiesced, increasing the limit to 35 percent.

Suspect in 2 S.F. shootings arrested following burglary investigation

Three arrests in a burglary case this month led San Francisco police to a man they claim participated in two different shootings in the city’s Mission District this year, police said Friday.

On Dec. 3, police responded to the 1600 block of Sanchez Street, where someone called 911 reporting several people breaking into and stealing items from a garage. The witness told 911 dispatchers that three people fled on foot, authorities said, but a short while later, a white van and a black sedan drove up and parked near the garage.

Five people exited the vehicles, said the witness, who recognized at least one of them as somebody who had earlier broken into the garage, according to police.

While officers arrived to the scene, the sedan drove away and three people fled on foot, authorities said. They were later arrested and identified as San Francisco residents Emerson Martinez, 24, Jose Rodriguez, 29 and Ernesto Herrera, 28.

Police said they found a black BB gun on Herrera and a semi-automatic pistol on Rodriguez.

The van, which remained at the scene, was later discovered to have been stolen, and several items that had been taken from the garage were found in the van, police said.

The trio was taken to the San Francisco County Jail and booked on charges including burglary, receiving stolen property, conspiracy and possession of burglary tools.

https://sites.google.com/view/free-watch-thecroodsanewage/

https://sites.google.com/view/vfdxz/home

Authorities said Rodriguez was also a homicide warrant, stemming from a Sept. 4, mid-day shooting that left a 27-year-old woman dead on the 100 block of Julian Avenue. Rodriguez was also identified as a suspect in an Oct. 27 shooting that left a man injured on the 1700 block of Mariposa Street.

Authorities did not say how they linked Rodriguez to the shootings.

Burglary investigators also linked Rodriguez and Martinez to a Nov. 11 burglary in Bernal Heights, police said, where the victim reported that two men — one of them armed with a handgun — stole a laptop and a bicycle, resulting in a slew of additional charges for the pair.

Redragon K530 Draconic review: A solid 60% keyboard with wireless capabilities

Mechanical keyboards are getting more compact, and one of the smallest you can get is a 60% keyboard. Several companies, mostly gaming-focused, are manufacturing these, so there are a few choices if you’re into the form factor.

Our Redragon K530 Draconic review takes a look at a 60% gaming keyboard from a company with many gaming peripherals, but you may not have heard of it. Read on for our full review!

DESIGN

So here’s the thing. I recently reviewed another 60% keyboard and was a bit harsh on the design (I’ve since updated the score for that one). At any rate, 60% keyboards are compact and small, but if you compare them to a standard laptop keyboard without a number pad, they are roughly the same size.

The Redragon K530 Draconic 60% mechanical keyboard has five rows with full-sized keys. Gone is the number pad on a full-sized keyboard, the arrow keys, and the Home/End/PgUp/PgDn block that is usually present. The biggest difference with 60% keyboards is where they place the alternate key functionality. Because of the size, there is no space for these keys.

Most 60% keyboards have extra writing on the front of the keycaps. These indicate the missing keys and can be accessed with the function button. Redragon’s placement is different than most others, but it works very well. Typically speaking, the arrow keys are assigned to the I/J/K/L or I/J/K/M keys. In the case of the K530, these are instead mapped to the W/A/S/D keys. Also, the Delete key is usually doubled up with the backspace key. Redragon has instead placed it on the /? key, which really makes it easy to access as it is right above the function key. Personally, I found it a more natural feeling to access those specific keys with this placement. The keyboard has two FN keys and a Magic FN key doubled up on the Caps Lock key. More on that below.

The keys themselves float in a tray of sorts. The tray’s front lip is about 3/4-inch in height, while the back lip is about an inch. The side lips, of course, increase in height from the front to the back. As for branding, the Redragon logo is printed in silver. On the keyboard’s underside are two flippable feet to allow you to raise the back of the keyboard when using it — pretty standard fare.

On the left side of the keyboard is where you’ll find your USB Type-C port, on/off switch, Bluetooth selector switch, Bluetooth LED, and power LED. The included USB Type-C cable has an L-shaped connector, which is nice when using the keyboard in wired mode.

The Redragon K530 Draconic also has RGB lighting. You can choose between thirteen different presets, some of which come with colourful or single colour options, and be able to change the direction of the movement. The Caps Lock key doesn’t light up, but this is by design. When Caps Lock is on, the key is lit in red. When it is off, the key is not lit. As there are no LED indicators as is the norm on larger keyboards, this is a thoughtful design choice.

EASE OF USE

There is no question that 60% keyboards take a bit of getting used to when it comes to using them. To use the printed keys located on the front of the keys that have them, hold the FN1 or FN2 down and then press the corresponding key. For example, FN1+/? will instead invoke the delete command. FN1+A is your back arrow, FN1+S is your down arrow, FN1+SHIFT+Esc lets you type a ~.

Where things get a bit messy is when using the macro recording for gaming. It’s not difficult but does require a bit of a process. The included manual outlines the necessary steps, so it’s something you’re not going to want to lose.

Oh, and that MAGIC FN key I mentioned earlier? In the app, you can assign this to FN1 or FN2, giving you even more access to the secondary typing commands and functions. If assigned to FN1, holding down the Caps Lock key and waiting for a second will allow you to use the arrow keys, delete, key, or other keys assigned to FN1 without having to hold down the FN1 key. In other words, you have two options to enable the FN1 key depending on your typing style. However, one thing to note is that this will toggle the Caps Lock key, so you’ll have to press it again once finished using it as the function key.

Pairing is easy as well. With the keyboard power switch turned on, select B1, B2, or B3 on the Bluetooth switch and look for the corresponding keyboard in your Bluetooth settings on your laptop, tablet, or another device. Once you’ve paired it, selecting that Bluetooth setting on the keyboard will re-pair with that device.

SOFTWARE

The Redragon K530 can be used out of the box. However, a software app makes it easier to create macros and bind macros and allows you to easier change the RGB lighting. Finally, you can also toggle if the Magic Fn feature applies to the FN1 or FN2 key bindings. The keyboard must be connected with the cable to use the software app. The app itself is pretty straightforward to use, even though it’s edgy look feels a tad dated.

PERFORMANCE

Typing and response performance is essential, especially for gaming. The Redragon brown switches on the keyboard have that nice tactile bump in them and aren’t as clicky as some other mechanical keyboards.

I didn’t have issues with delay or anything for gaming, whether I was in wired or wireless mode. I mostly just played some Heroes of the Storm with it and actually found it was nicer to play with the mouse and keyboard closer together. I don’t generally notice it but going back to a full-sized keyboard definitely feels like you’re reaching a bit more with the mouse, depending on your setup.

When typing, once I got used to the size, I was able to get about 108wpm with 100% accuracy on Monkeytype.com while in wired mode. Having wireless capabilities, I ran a second series of tests in Bluetooth mode. I was still able to hit over 100 wpm with 100% accuracy here as well.

When used in Bluetooth mode, the keyboard does come out of sleep mode fairly quickly. If it’s been a while since you used it, tap a key and it will come out of sleep mode without registering that key. If it’s only been a short time, pressing a key will register it once the keyboard wakes up.

One interesting thing I did notice was some weird functionality with the backspace key. When holding it down, say to delete an entire sentence (yes, I know there are faster ways to do this), it would delete the first character then look like nothing was happening. Once you release the backspace key, however, a large chunk of your text disappears. In other words, it is working and deleting previous characters while you are holding it down, but there’s no visual feedback on your display, so you know when to stop.

RECEPTION

With Bluetooth 5.0 powering the wireless connectivity, you shouldn’t have to worry about the distance you are from your connected device. Most of the time, you’ll likely be close to your computer, but if you’re connecting to a computer in a boardroom with a larger screen, you should be good to go. I did test the keyboard from about 20 feet away from the laptop I had it connected to, and typing was fine.

BATTERY LIFE

Redragon doesn’t specifically mention the specific amount of time you’ll get out of the 3,000mAh battery included within the K530 Draconic gaming keyboard. Of course, battery life will vary, especially if you have the backlit function on.

During testing, I did leave the backlit function on and found that the keyboard would lose roughly 2–3% battery per hour of use. After about 6 hours of use, I was down to 80% battery life left. Based on that, you’ll definitely be able to get through an entire day (if it’s a long one) or a few regular 8 hour days without having to plug it in.

While the keyboard does have an on/off switch, I’m one to forget to toggle it when I’m not using the keyboard. Fortunately, the sleep function works rather well, and I didn’t notice any battery bleed between uses. For example, I’d check the remaining battery life when I was done using it for the day, let it go into sleep mode, and up to 20 hours later the battery life would still be the same or 1% lower when I started to use it again.

PRICE/VALUE

The Redragon K530 Draconic gaming keyboard is a steal at US$69.99. Not only is this well below some of the more well-known brands, but it offers decent performance and wireless capabilities, making it even more portable. Even better, it’s currently on sale for $64.99 on the Redragon website and Amazon.

WRAP-UP

As I’ve mentioned before, 60% keyboards aren’t for everyone. I’m still not a huge fan, but I can definitely appreciate the appeal.

If you’re looking for a 60% mechanical keyboard for gaming or even for stowing away in your laptop bag, you can’t go wrong with the Redragon K530 Draconic 60% mechanical keyboard. Priced right, it offers great value and decent performance and is deserving of a Top Pick of 2020 Award here at Techaeris.

The overall objective here, on top of our is smartphone-enabled, real-time, on the scene reporting of news, interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the World and within seconds and not hours — is the use of the existing YouTube social graph on any subject in the World. Now, news is reported with a smartphone and also by promoting current content on YouTube: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary, or having a camera crew to shoot what is already on YouTube.
